Paul Welcomes Shiner Native to His Washington Office
June 19th, 2002Washington, DC: Congressman Ron Paul today welcomed Tim Patek to his Washington staff as a summer intern. Tim, a Shiner native and a graduate of St. Paul High School, earned praise for his hard work at Paul’s Victoria office earlier this year. The Victoria staff recommended Tim to the Washington office, so the University of Houston junior will spend the summer immersed in Capitol Hill politics.
Tim is a history major at the Victoria UH campus. He plans to attend graduate school and possibly pursue a career in Washington.
Congressman Paul encourages young people from the 14th congressional district to consider internships in his Freeport, Victoria, and Washington offices. Information is available at www.house.gov/paul under the heading “Constituent Services.”
