Paul Announces Victoria Grant
January 13th, 2000Victoria, Texas – Congressman Ron Paul announced today that the City of Victoria is the recipient of a FEMA grant, totaling $1,251,237, to be administered by the Texas Division of Emergency Management. Application for the grant was made by the city following the October 1998 flood. The funds are to be used to pay 75 percent of the purchase cost for 108 flood-damaged structures, with the city paying the remaining $417,079.
